“Is this real or not?” Many of the residents at Chagrin Valley, a care home which resembles a 1950s American suburb, live with dementia. This delicately-observed film presents the tragedy of memory loss alongside highly amusing moments from everyday life. While the residents live in the past, the care staff hold on to their dreams of a better future.
